A 19th Century T & R Boote 6 inch dust pressed tile, with red transfer printed decoration depicting a seated figure holding a sword and wheel representing a classical muse titled Fortune, surrounded by a black border in the aesthetic style over a cream ground, together with two other tiles from the same series, the first decorated with a figure representing Industry and the second representing Affection all in red transfer print. (3)

General age related wear. Fortune tile has a chip to the lower right corner that has been glazed over. Industry and affection tiles have a chip to the lower left corner.
