CAMP; 6 Mar. 1759 EL from London (in French ref. work to obtain Fournier's exchange) to "Joseph Fournier, Prisoner of War in Winchester" charged "3[d]" with a partly fine "6/MR" Bishop Mark on the flap. The contents include; "Messrs. the Commissioners do not want to hear a word of exchange until the prisoner's turn should come. I see from the newspaper that there are Paquetbots passing from France with prisoners, so we have to hope that your turn will come soon. There is as yet no general exchange".
