A Robert Wallace for Martin Brothers jug circa 1885, the stoneware globular jug with carved continuous floral decoration within scrolling acanthus foliage, below a heart decorated neck, glazed in tones of brown and white with blue highlights, incised 'RW Martin & Bros, London & Southall, 8-1885', 18cm high
The jug shows wear commensurate with use and age, minor chips to the glaze and firing cracks that finish half way down the lower handle terminal.
