A very rare .177" Cogswell & Harrison "Certus" barrel cocking air pistol/rifle, 14" overall, rifled barrel 12½", number 374, the left frame marked "Certus" Cogswell & Harrison Ltd London", the right side marked "Prov* Pat* Appd* For -* 23099", with fore sight on the barrel near the muzzle, tap loading plain walnut grips, the back strap drilled and tapped to take a shoulder stock. GWO & C An article in "Air Gun World" in 2002 claimed that only 3 examples of the pistol were known, although there are probably others existing. £450-500
