A large Royal Naval white ensign, indistinctly stenciled, 360cm x 170cm. together with a Gieve, Matthews & Seagrove japaned metal case, (owned by Vice admiral Harry Rowlandson Godfrey)
The flag has several small holes in it and one small tear. Possibly due to moths rather than wear. The box measures 63cm wide, 33cm deep and 14cm high.
