A LARGE GEORGE III SILVER TANKARD
by Walter Brind, London 1814, of straight-sided form, the slightly domed cover reeled, the thumbpiece of foliate shell-form, with a plain S-scroll handle, the body with reeded bands above a spreading foot. 23cm high, 64.5 troy ounces
Hallmarks are clear and well struck, sits flat with no rocking, a couple of small dents around the foot, overall in good condition commensurate with age.
