1796 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Officer's Sword
31 1/2 inch, double edged blade with short, narrow, central fuller. Gilt brass boat shell guard. Gilt brass straight crossguard and knuckle bow. Gilt brass urn pommel. Wire bound grip. Contained in its black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts and two hanging rings. The throat with makers "Wilding & Childe 186 Strand".
