Southern Railway locomotives. A stunning collection of approx. 1200, postcard size black and white prints collated over several years and housed in a hand made plywood box (with lid). Very minor duplication. The prints are sub-divided into classes in number order from "Southern 1" to "Southern 1599" and feature locomotives of the Southern Railway and its constituent companies. The photographs are from several commercial sources including: "Locofotos", R.Blencowe, Photomatic, A.R.Goult, P.J.Hughes, L.Hanson as well as the collator's own photographs. All the prints have comprehensive details on the reverse and are in very good condition. No copyright, sample illustrated.
