Two large Chinese carved jade sectional plaques, probably 20th century, in white and pale celadon jade, both depicting a figure of a soldier wearing armoured clothing, his sleeves, skirt and trousers carved and pierced with figures, masks beasts and scrollwork, one plaque in eight interlocking sections, the other in nine sections, the reverse uncarved, 16½in.
