A LARGE CHINESE CIZHOU TYPE OIL SPOT GLAZED JAR, 13/14TH CENTURY. An ovoid jar with rolled rim and horizontally ribbed body, covered in a dark blackish brown glaze with silvered spots throughout. Probably Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). 26cm tall x 24cm wide.
Hole drilled to centre of the base. A 6cm long filled chip repair to the rim.
