1913 (16 SEP) registered cover from Salisbury to London, franked by 1910-13 1d bright carmine, perf 14, vertical pair (pos. 57/67) ERROR IMPERF BETWEEN (SG 124a), and 1913-19 5d (SG 212), tied by two strikes of ‘SALISBURY / RHODESIA’ cds with registration label at upper left, backstamped with oval ‘Collector of Customs / SALISBURY’ ds in violet and London arrival (7 OC) hooded cds; a spectacular cover, and one of the great Rhodesia rarities.
