A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 26196, 1948, from a (LNER) B1 Class 4-6-0 built in March 1948, originally numbered E1295 and renumbered 61295 in June 1950. Allocated new on 3 March 1948 to Ardsley, it spent all its life there and at Copley Hill. Withdrawn from Ardsley on 26 November 1962, it was cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 13¾"x5½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
