LETTER & PARCEL SCALES: 19th to early 20th century collection of scales of various designs. Two letter scales with a wooden base, brass balance & weights, one of which has "Rates of Postage" impressed on the balance pan. The parcel post scales with wooden base and cast iron weights and a 'Rates of Postage' for parcels plaque attached to the base. Others with cast iron or brass, or pressed metal bases. All in very fine condition, but may require calibrating. (8)
