A large late 19th century wood fan, the guards shaped and painted, the leaf mounted in cabriolet fashion, in two horizontal bands, painted silk over a stronger layer, painted in the Watteau style, the central cartouche showing a dancing couple, the reserves with several vignettes painted with a flower seller, a courting couple, and perhaps musical instruments
Generally in good order with some wear to the folds.
