A late 19th Century Japanese vase, in the manner of Miyagawa (Makuzu) Kozan, the running glazes on the vase applied with relief moulded frogs, height 27cm, signed to base.
Two small hairline/firing cracks to the footrim of the vase.
The relief enamelled areas show some crazing and cracking to the enamel, noticeable in the white relief areas of the frogs. Overall the vase shows wear commensurate with age.
