AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY PEWTER 'REMBRANDT-TYPE' FLAGON, DUTCH, CIRCA 1700. Of typical shouldered form, domed-lid, erect thumbpiece, single-curve handle with simple rounded terminal, maker's touchmark to underside of lid, possibly Daniel Barton (fl. c.1690-1699), height 26cm; together with a mid-18th century pewter coffee pot, of tall conical form, the domed-lid with wooden knop finial. the wooden handle with scroll thumbrest, touchmark inside base, height 33.5cm, (2).
