£1,400
An early 19th century English drum clock in the style of Vullimay by GP Tode of 248 Regent Street, London, the drum clock with a gilt face with Roman numerals, surmounted by a standing lion and flanked by two further recumbent lions, cast in gilt bronze with well executed chased manes, all mounted on a black marble plinth with swag decoration to the front panel, mounted on four turned and chased decorative bun feet, 32cms wide.
The clock is running and looks in original condition. There's some minor rubbing to the gilt decoration on the high points. There's also some very minor nibbling to the corners on the marble base but overall the clock looks to be in good condition. The dial is 11cms in diameter.
