1908 (Jan 15) Cover with "BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION 1907" printed on the flap, addressed to Wellington, New Zealand, a King Edward VII Land 1d tied by "BRIT. ANTARCTIC EXPD / N.Z" c.d.s, backstamped at Dunedin (Jan 22). The first use of KEVII Land stamps and the first mail from the Shackleton Antarctic Expedition, cancelled on the "Nimrod", sent back from the edge of the Antarctic to New Zealand on the "Koonya". Light vertical fold, small opening tears at upper edge. Photo on Page 130.
