The Works Of Thomas Hood Ten volume set Published by E Moxon, Son, & Co 1869 Ten volumes, bound in brown leather with red marbled boards, leather is worn at edges and at the top of the spines of many volumes, several volumes are starting to split at the joints between the spines and the boards, a few volumes have small chips to the leather, mainly at the rear boards, front board of many volumes are loose, volume 1 is faded at the rear board, spines a little darkened and grubby, volume 10 is very darkened at the spine, and chipped at the top, some fading to boards of volume 10, and edges dented, marbled end pages, and page ends, foxing to early blank page and reverse of ffep on most volumes, remainder of pages generally clean and neat and bright, set has many faults but these are mostly small. An attractive set of volumes with textblocks in very good condition.
