A VERY GOOD QUALITY IRISH 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, the curved top turns and folds open to reveal a baize lined playing surface within; all raised on a short turned column support that has a gadrooned collar sitting upon a raised platform base with canted corners that runs down onto four curved legs with reed detailing, terminating on brass lion paw feet on castors. A fine example of a hand crafted fold over card table with great decorative detail to the base. Dimensions: 91 x 45 x 72cm (W x D x H – closed), when open 91 x 90 x 72cm. Condition: excellent condition over all; there is minor loss to the veneer on one side – photographed; and the underside of the table could do with securing; but does not detract from the look or use of the table.
