2nd Bn Middlesex Regiment 1907 Hook Quillon Bayonet 1st Pattern Scabbard.
A scarce second year of production example. 17 inch, single edged blade with fuller. Forte with crowned ER over "7/08" and maker "Sanderson". The reverse with broad arrow. Steel muzzle ring and hook quillon crossguard. Steel pommel marked "2 MX 375". Polished wooden slab grips. Contained in its all leather 1st pattern scabbard with impressed marks of WD arrow and "08". Complete with 1908 pattern, webbing equipment frog, this with a 1915 date. Overall GC
