WILLI SOUKOP (BRITISH 1907-1995)MADONNA AND CHILDFibreglass and mixed media Height 160cm (62in.)The sculpture was originally designed for the Sacred Heart Sisters but never realised into bronze. The work was then purchased from a gallery in Oxfordshire (between 1964-1966) by the present owner who installed the work in the convent Chapel at Cavendish Square in 1970s. The sculpture was then moved to Mayfield School, East Sussex.
