A Japanese bronze and mixed metal vase - Meiji period (1868-1912), of slender ovoid form with waisted neck, the red-brown patinated vase inlaid in mixed metals and painted with fireflies and bamboo, signed, with three character mark, further signed to base, 18.5cm high.

* Condition: Scattered verdigris style tarnish spotting across the surface and some light scratches to patination. Heavier verdigris marking around the edge of the base and to the base itself. No other faults.
