Railway, Industrial. A good sized assortment of approx. 350, black and white, postcard size prints, with some minor duplication. The prints are from a variety of sources including "The Industrial Railway Society" as well as postcard reproductions. The majority of the prints are industrial views of works and collieries in Lancashire, Yorkshire, South Wales, Staffordshire, Black Country etc, however, there are several locomotive views amongst the collection. Locations include: Silverdale Ironworks, Kirkstall Forge & Engineering, Monkton Coke Works, Manvers Main Coking Plant, Glasshoughton Coke Works, Broomhill Colliery, Ormonde Colliery, Hunslet Leeds etc. Also included in this lot are several photo lists from the "Industrial Railway Society" and "Photomatic", useful for reference.
