Zeppelin interest - label states 'These are pieces of the L3 Zeppelin. This Aircraft was the first to claim Civilian Lives on British soil, by bombing. This event took place on the 19th of Jan. 1915. 2 people were killed by this bombardment. These pieces, mainly made from Duralumin, were salvaged from the wreckage of the Airship. The L3 Zeppelin was badly damaged after a forced landing in France' Label stamped 'Whitehall Theatre of War, London War Museum, 14 Whitehall, London SW1'.
