Framed 1892 print of Escape of HMS Calliope by William Lionel Wyllie (1851–1931) - frame 68cm x 79.5cm ~ a/f to the print near right hand edge & near left middle ~ the calypso-class corvette H.M.S. Calliope (1887-1951) was escaping from the 1889 Apia cyclone in Samoa which caused large losses of ships and @145 fatalities
