An English pottery cow creamer, Yorkshire, 19th century, with lustre decoration, modelled standing on a green painted base, 15cm high, and a Yorkshire pottery cottage money box, 19th century, painted in Pratt ware palette, and flanked by two figures, 12cm high
The cow creamer shows surface wear throughout, including rubbing to the lustre finish, losses to the over-glaze decoration, and areas of surface crazing. The moulding joint is largely visible throughout. Three of the udder teats are missing. The cover shows a firing fault to the edge. The money box shows surface crazing throughout, the odd small glazing fault, and nibbles to high points, edges and corners.
