An 18th century Channel Islands silver christening cup, overstruck maker's mark TM (unknown, Guernsey, c.1780-1790), probably IH (Jean Henry, Guernsey fl. c.1727-1783) beneath, typical form with cast beaded scroll handles and short, waisted foot, inscribed 'Is.D.G' to side, 2 5/8in. (6.7cm.) high, weight 2.96 tr.oz.. * Two small dents to footrim. Otherwise good.
