TWO CHINESE QINGBAI WARE PORCELAIN BOWLS, YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368). Each thickly potted with carved petal exteriors covered in a pale bluish glaze. One with a painted character to base. 15.5cm diam. (2)
Both in good overall condition with no signs of damage or repair. Areas of crazing to note. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
