A Royal Worcester porcelain trio, mid 20th century, comprising a teacup, the interior hand painted with fruits on a naturalistic ground, signed P.H. Price, the exterior parcel gilt, puce printed maker's mark for 1936 to base, a conforming saucer signed E. Townsend, puce maker's mark for 1935 to base, and a similarly decorated side plate with shaped rim, also signed E. Townsend, puce maker's mark for 1940 to base (3)
The cup shows no visible chips, cracks or losses.
The gilt finish shows minor rubbing and fine surface scratching. The interior shows the odd small firing frit.
The saucer shows no visible chips, cracks or losses. There is a small glazing fault at approximately 9 o'clock 1cm in from the rim. The gilt finish to the centre shows minor rubbing and fine surface scratching. The gilt rim shows more extensive rubbing. Diameter 14.5cm.
The side plate shows no visible chips, cracks or losses. The rim shows minor rubbing to the gilt finish. Diameter 17.8cm
