A Georgian silver cream jug by Hester Bateman, London 1780, of baluster form on circular domed foot, decorated with a repousse style with a farm scene, pressed bead rim and scrolling handle, 11.3cm high, weight 2.58ozt
Overall condition is fair, majority of border on domed foot is missing and therefore piece does not sit flat, there is moderate denting to foot and body. Solder remnants over original cartouche where late replacement is assumed to have been added.
