Asia, antique, early 19th century small size bags: the first made from panels of patterned, woven silk, probably Persian, the design of small flowers, the square flap base with silver metal tassels to each corner, chain strap; together with a crochet example in four panels, an element of metal thread, flowers in relief, incorporating the date of 1884; a monochrome bag with draw string and tassels; a crochet bag designed in horizontal bands, the darkest being metal thread, a metal thread motif and tassels to the base; and a draw string bag formed from clear and ruby coloured beads (5)

The Persian bag lining is distressed. The fourth bag has slight damage to the top.
