Chinese Type 24 / Chiang Kai-Shek / Type 79 7.92X57mm Mauser Service Rifle, Serial No. P7584, bolt-action, Chinese script on butt and receiver, the name changed from “Type 24” to “Type Chiang Kai-shek” after the Generalissimo visited the factory, and later became the Type 79 under the Chinese Communists. It was a copy of the German Standardmodell rifle, itself a forerunner of the famous K98k and was made from 1935 to 1949. Deactivated to EU specifications with Current Certificate. No licence required.
