A Heavy Georgian Hallmarked Silver Mug, (marks rubbed) London 1756, of baluster form, allover profusely decorated with flowerheads and scrolls on a textured ground, gilt lined, leaf capped scroll handle, on circular spreading base, crested, 13cm high (425grams).

The silver mug is in overall fine condition, the gilt lining is still prominent, rim has small areas of denting, allover abrasions to main body, but minor signs of denting or pitting. Small nick from lower body, handle has allover abrasions with a small scratch halfway down inside. Spreading base sits flush (not wobbly).
