A Belgian 6 shot 7mm Pliers Brevete double action pinfire revolver, c 1866, round barrel 97mm (3¾”), the breech stamped “A.PLIERS BREVETE”, with most unusual loading and ejecting system whereby the ejector rod, which clips to the right side of the frame, swings forward and up to release the barrel and cylinder which slide forwards on the cylinder pin, the cylinder being rotated by a separate plate on which it is located by a pin, the cylinder and frame engraved with vines, with folding trigger and plain walnut grips.
