French violin labelled ''Vuillaume a Paris, Rue Croix des Petits Champs 46'', 14 inch two piece back with good curl from honeyed yellow to red brown, stamped 'Vuillaume a Paris'
The condition overall is good. There appears to be a fine split adjacent to one of the sound holes (see image). No further splits have been found.
There are knocks, scrapes and wear consistent with age and use.
