SLIGHTLY GRADUATED PAIR OF NINETEENTH CENTURY CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN TANKARDS, each of cylindrical form with loop handle, painted with figures at leisure in a garden setting, on a gilt scrolled ground with four foliate cartouches around the handle, 5 ¼” (13.3cm) and 4 ¾” (12cm) high, together with a BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN TEA BOWL, (3)
C/R- both tankards with restored or replaced handles, the larger tankard with hairline to the front edge of the base, 2 ½” long approx, another, smaller to the top rim, the colour to the interior looks patchy with several bright white spots where the pops and frits are showing through the glaze, similar to the smaller but less obvious, the smaller tankard with a hairline to the top rim at the front, 2” long approx, both with the usual crazing and minor rubbing, the tea bowl with restored rim
