1900 Ashanti Medal no clasp to S.A.C.O.P. P. Crorkin G.C.C. very fine. Philip Crorkin died from malaria at Cape Coast Castle, Gold Coast on 8th March 1902. With range of copied and typed research and newspaper articles, he was born in Carrickfergus 29/1/70, joined Royal Irish Constabulary 1891, 1900 selected from 30 candidates to be Sub-Assistant Commissioner of the Gold Coast Police, while he was a Sgt in the County Westmeath Force. Roll confirms a no clasp medal. (See photo) (R)
