Morant & Co. - a pair of early 20th century Edwardian coronation throne chairs. Each side chair upholstered in worn red velvet to the backrest, arms and seats, the velvet embellished with tassels. One chair featuring a worn coat of arms crest, with five tower design. The whole thing atop mahogany stretchers & legs. Each chair with the scarce Morant & Co. label; the company became Lenygon & Morant in 1912 and later took over Howard and Sons in 1935. In need of re-upholstery & care. Measuring approx. 108cm x 78cm x 57cm.
