A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Shariputra, the Buddhist disciple seated holding a lotus pod and wearing robes, raised on a throne base, applied with a deer head, height 14cm.
Good overall natural patination, rubbing to the gilt at the relief areas.
Small area behind the figure's left ear, which appears to have something broken away.
Scratching, wear and patination to the underside of the base.
