A FIRST WORLD MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO THE ARTILLERY. A Memorial Plaque named to Percy Edmund Carpenter who served as 79298 with the 6th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Carpenter of Great Yarmouth and husband to Henrietta Louise Carpenter of 5 The Grove, Chapel Field Norwich. He was killed in action on the 20th June 1917 and is buried at La Plus Douve Farm Cemetery, his headstone reads 'Jesu Mercy', he was 36 years old. *CR Polished. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
