A LARGE TAOIST PAINTING, DATED 1640 崇祯十三年十月内造 宝峰寺 临汾张氏捐绘 道教水陆画 on woven textile of many Taoist deities and heavenly guards together in a single scene. All figures are wearing red and green robes with many holdings iconography such as swords, tablets, horns, etc. or praying. Several inscriptions with the names of the deities. The painting is dated on lower left ‘13th years of Chongzhen, in Baofeng temple’, on the lower right side, signed ‘donator Zhang family in Linfen’ Framed, 180 x 110cm
