Claudius brass dupondius 'Rome Mint 42 A.D.' although the coinage of Claudius was copied contemporously onwards this piece is strange, obverse legend ends 'IMP' thus = 'K' ie Sear 1855, reverse:- Ceres enthroned, left, for similar busts see Sear 1860 and 1862, Ex. Rev. D.P.Burrows Collection, looks to have been lacquered, both dies slightly off centre, well struck up, GVF
