1938-55 mint collection (thousands) in three stockbooks.  A very large accumulation, put together with the intention of studying the printings.  Mostly in multiples with the great majority unmounted, including many Plate blocks, imprint blocks and quite a few varieties, with (no doubt) more lurking unremarked.  Noted; 7 x ½d perf 14 blocks with three being Plate blocks, extra frond block, 56 x 1½d blocks (up to full sheets) with perf 14 top two rows of sheet, three other blocks, one a Plate block, and an imprint/Plate strip of three; 5 x 2d Die I blocks with two being imprint, and one Plate; 9 x 2d Die II blocks including imprint; 8 x 2d green and magenta scratched building blocks; 2½ds (all perfs) with 11 x Extra Islands; 9 x 5d blue and scarlet blocks, including (blank) Plate block and imprint block; 3 x 6d Die I blocks, one an amazingly fresh Plate block, and 7 x 6d violet-black blocks, one of 9; lots of middle values and 7 x 10/- blocks, three being Plate blocks, and 8 x £1 blocks, four being Plate blocks.  A significant holding.  SG 249-266b
