Rare Brown's Patent perforated wry neck putter designed and patented by James Brown, a blacksmith in Montrose in 1904. Unusually this putter contains the patent for a water/rake (sand) iron, neither of which applies to the putting green, making the patent design of this particular putter rather interesting, fitted with a full length period hide grip and underlisting. Please note a bent neck example of this putter reached $10,000 earlier in 2024.
