Folk Art POW prisoner of war walking stick. 1914 - 1918 WWI era. Double twisted snake carved to shaft and stained to emulate snakes skin. Inlaid metal diamond shape where leather cord is attached. Naively carved detail to top and original ferrel. Possibly of Austrian origin. Length 88cm. Width 4.5cm.
