A scarce example of the Colonial Volunteer Officer’s Decoration with ‘VRI’ cypher; named on the reverse to Capt J E Evans EI Ry V Rifle Corps (East India Railway
Volunteer Rifle Corps). Hallmarks for Birmingham 1896, with makers mark Jenkins & Sons Birmingham.
There are some file marks over the naming on the reverse, but the naming is still clearly legible. Otherwise Very Fine (VF) condition.
