A green jade necklace, mid-20th Century, the graduated spherical beads with swirling white inclusions, threaded to a fine white-metal chain. 42cm long, 40.1g From the estate of a recently deceased lady who served a six year commission in the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, with postings to Singapore, Malaya and Hong Kong in the 1950s - it is believed the necklace was purchased during this period.
