A Complete Illuminated Qur'an Manuscript in Naskh Script, Likely Kashmir or North India, 19th Century.
This richly illuminated incomplete Qur'an manuscript likely originates from Kashmir or northern India in the 19th century. Written in a delicate naskh script, the manuscript features floral marginal decorations, rubricated text, and intricate geometric ornamentation on the opening bifolium. The Surah Al-Fatiha (Al-Ḥamd) is found rewritten with particular attention to spacing and design.
