A pair of Egyptian Coptic period circa 5th - 6th century AD woven tapestry fragments, likely fragments from a clavus tunic. Each fragment in reddish brown & beige linen and wool, depicting hunting imagery of a warrior with shield and weapon, scrolled wave like border to either side, with roundels above (cut off on right hand fragment). Framed, mounted & glazed.
